Enhanced Concealed Handgun Carry License

Enhanced Concealed Handgun Carry License

In this 8 hour course we will cover: areas where you may and may not carry concealed, dispute resolution, avoiding victimization, legal matters pertaining to the carry and use of firearms, and more. This Enhanced endorsement will give you more freedom to carry in places that the basic CHCL does not. Some examples are: churches, state capitol grounds, establishments that serve alcohol, athletic events, and more!  The course is $135, and is a complete course for applicants who do not currently hold a valid CHCL.

If you have taken the basic CHCL class within the last 10 years and hold a valid Concealed Hangun Carry license, a 4 hour Upgrade to Enhanced course is available for you.

All other applicants will be required to complete the 8 hour Enhanced CHCL course. Hearing and eye protection is mandatory. If you do not have any, you may purchase them for $5 on-site or on the website when you book. Bring a pistol of your preference, preferably a semi-automatic so that you may be issued the unrestricted license. You will need at least 100 rounds of ammunition for your weapon. If you do not own a pistol, rentals are available at a cost of $10, plus the cost of ammunition. The shooting portion of the course is described below.
